I thought too that this would not in the end affect and the decision my parents made came out of the bush.

Would almost like to reopen the case. My parents who went to safeplace in summer cottage are forced to come back cause over 70 year old people are not allowed any human contacts for a month, so they can't get food there. so they come here and I have to buy food for them and put it behind their door here back home. So summer cottage would be free for use and we sure are under ten people so we are aloud to gather - but still gonna pass this time. We have been a bit sick and wife got fever today so being causious.

I guess you are, if the cottage is far away from any neighbours

(Hint: "aloud" = opposite of quiet. You meant "allowed". Same pronunciation, different spelling. English is weird.)

(Talking about weird, the word "neighbours" has different spelling in different parts of the world, yet in both cases half of the vowels are silent.)

Hah, missed that one. I have to correct those all the time but missed that one. Too instead of two or vice versa is my most common one. Here and hear is another. Gonna leave that typo so your post stays relevant. And I don't mind making mistakes. It's like my second nature.

Piece to you all!

In other words, you write almost like a typical native English speaker. If you extend your repertoire to its/it's, were/where/we're and your/you're, no one will ever know you did not grow up in Birmingham.

I had thought to suggest a new date in some other location (our summer cottage is occupied) but then came the new storm of infections. Darn. It will happen though. Maybe it is good to wait untill I get the motherboards back from England.

Well... Everyone is kind of used to use virtual meetings etc so how about https://jitsi.org/ or other ?

I hate the idea of having the meeting as virtual cause the idea for me is to be able see and touch devices. But it is an option though and maybe a good one too. Maybe someone else can arrange that cause I haven't used virtual connections except now with Teams for work stuff.
