Personally, I'd simply like to have an extended back cover with a slot in the side - Put a different(smaller) Nokia battery where the current one is, with a small board between it and the board contacts. Then you can run wires up to contacts in the extended back, which has a slide in battery... Which would then be hot-swappable, thanks to the secondary battery sitting in the original battery position.
Make sense?

Sure thing, if I, by any chance, get my hand on N9 (which may be quite hard to achieve, as i don't plan to buy it, and stealing isn't an option ). This way I've something to work on = I can design actual body replacement.l
