Anyone who has owned a touchscreen phone, as I have with a Sony Ericsson W950i (Symbian UIQ), can sympathise with that point of view. It's not strictly a fault of the iPhone or Touch as it's a pretty consistent failing in most touchscreen devices - you have to look at them to control them unless you have hard buttons either on the device or on a headset (wired or otherwise). I'm not even sure this is a direct failing of the UI per se - it's a failing of the hardware design beyond the UI, and it's certainly a usability issue where too much emphasis is placed on the touchscreen.

Pretty silly not to provide a remote control with the Touch though...
