I noticed expansys-usa.com is selling both the US and the UK version, with the UK version being $50,- more expensive. Does anybody know the difference between the EU, UK and US versions? Is that just the plug on the charger or will there be other differences to take into account?

It's great to be the first to give an answer to this!
It's weird noone else has done already actually, this is such an easy one.

Well you see the UK version has a build-in bacon and egg making device and the american one shoots bullets out of the 3.5 mm jack plug. For the rest they are the same. Instead of the bullets and the breakfast making the german N900 has a big wall in the middle of the dashboard. But it should be broken down as soon as the new firmware arrives. :P

I have done research to this as well actually.
As far as my knowledge goes it is mainly how the keys of the keyboard are divided, plus what you already said, the plug on the charger. Input settings are all in the software and I have not read about different software per country, so that should be the same.

This is my first post as well as it was yours

one of the differences i see between the UK and US version is that one is Tri-Band WCDMA (900/2100), while the other is Dual-Band WCDMA (900/1700/2100)

Nokia's UK website is now saying expected delivery date of November. I was tempted to order one using Quidco and the 10% off... but I will stick to my original plan of waiting for reviews.

Amazon UK is still saying 26th October, but they're likely wrong.

I would like to clear things up for everyone: US phones will be available between oct.19-30 and europe and other countries november 19th thru the 30th. My reasoning is this

from WIki:It was launched at Nokia World on 2 September 2009 and was expected to be released on 27 September 2009 in the United States and on 19 October 2009 in 9 European countries

SO as you can see clearly US markets are getting it first, since most of the nov dec dates are coming from euro sources, i suspect i am right.
