There was a link in the email to check status. There are 3 or 4 different ways to check status depending on what info you have. My info all came back as not in the system or something.

So I called on Friday since it had been 4 weeks and the website acted like they didn't know who I was. I gave them the info and here's what they said:

Your card is printed up, but we don't know when it will be mailed out?? WTF kinda stoopid chit is that? She said, we don't want to tell you 2-3 weeks and then you not get it by then!

I asked, you can't give me any indication of when it will mail? She said no. She also couldn't explain how her website acted like it didn't have me in the system, but she readily found the info. I asked her why I got an email from Nokia saying I would have it in 2-3 weeks, and she said Nokia shouldn't be doing that!
I got the exact same emails and had the same issues when trying to check the status of my rebate. To my suprise I received my $50 Visa card this past weekend.

Just wanted to say that Nokia isn't scamming you.

Due to the overwhelming sales during the promotional period, we are still processing requests. Your specific request shoiuld be done in about 2-3 weeks.
-Nokia sales rep.

I purchased mine on Nov 20, and sent my rebate when the N900 Ovi Store loophole was found. (Probably around Mid-Late 2009)

That should be a nice timeframe for other Amazon purchasers at least.

EDIT: By loophole, I meant the ability to choose the N900 as your phone before the Ovi store allowed it. Not to be confused with the apt-get loophole.

I just got mine as well... after I had to resend the receipt back in January (something shady about that whole process it seems).

However, that and the Dell deal put me about $410 shipped. Nice

Same here. I cannot find the phone number printed on the rejection letter, does anyone have it handy?

I have the US (Toll-Free) number. 1-800-436-6394.

The rebate sheet refers you to that number "to check the status of your rebate."

Of course, the number isn't very useful, say, if you got your phone in Europe. (You could always ask them for the correct number though.)
