Thanks!
I got one! woohoo!

It comes with a wired headset, just like the 770. I can't find anything in the bluetooth settings to indicate it can pair with a BT headset. Unfortunately, I lost my BT headset on friday. I won't know for sure until I find it.

I just got a N800 from a certain store in Bellevue, WA. At first, they told me they didn't have them in stock. I had them go in back to check if they had just arrived and sure enough they were in the back. The manager told me I couldn't have one for a few days though. I did a little huffing and hawing. On my way out, an employee asked about buying my 770 and we came to terms. I left and thought I would be gone a few days. I got a call back from the employee and he met me in the store with a box, ran me through the checkout and I walked out of the store with my N800 a few days early

Best thing so far:

- SUPPORTS BLUETOOTH KEYBOARDS OUT OF THE BOX!

Worst thing:

- The buttons are way too small and feel cheap. The front rocker and tripple button have some play to them. I am pretty upset about this, frankly, as this is a major downgrade from the quality of construction and useability of the 770. I think there is enough new functionality and speed improvements to keep me from returning it, but I am not at all happy.

for those who are finding difficulty in picking one up, try other salespeople. the salesperson i worked with, didn't mind bending the rules to earn a little commission on the device...

i'm not sure if anyone picked up on this, but it looks like the flash player is version 7. with regards to youtube, i noticed that when i loered the video quality and increased the amount of info flash can store on the device, the viideo playback was alot smoother. hope this helps.

Again: any developers why buy early are cheating themselves. The developer discount has already been announced on maemo.

Putting OS 2007 on the 770 would be analogous to installing Windows Vista on a Tandy 1000.

Bernard, stop *****ing. Probably it would not work on N770 anyway, and would in any case overwhelm it as Texrat points out.

Ok, the official press release is now out too:
www.mobileburn.com
www.phonescoop.com

ps. that N76 looks weird... but whatever.. if people want Razr clones, no matter how ugly the original was, they shall have them.. lol.. Well, perhaps it looks better once I see it for myself. At least Nokia has packed it with decent features.. but N75 looks still much better to me.

3 hours continuous internet usage. 10 hours standby. Normal usage will lie somewhere in between (I hear 6 hours a lot). Same battery the 770 used.
