Oh... more like a feature request, it would look a bit more cool if the camerapp didn't show on screen for a sec before being killed and replaced by the quicklaunch-popup

Yes, that will be cool but it's a little bit hard to do

Did you see my rapport on the issue I'm having? It does look like some sort of bug to me..

Can I make the dialogue run verbose or something? it does not give me an error..

You can run the dialog by command line by running :
/usr/bin/quick-launch-dialog

The problem could be also in the daemon, you can run it by command line:
/usr/bin/quick-launch-daemon

there should be some sort of output that could be helpful.

I go to quick launch in settings, and select to launch when shutter opens. I select ok and get "internal error. application 'settings' closed". Do I need to do something to disable the camera app first?

No, you don't need to do anything before. This error comes up everytime you try to select to launch when shutter opens ?

Yes, it happens every time. I tried a reboot, but same result. Camera still opens with the shutter.

edit - Ok, it seems that you have to assign all four quick launch buttons to be able to open with the shutter. I only had two assigned when I was getting the error.

This app is very usefull for launching the flashlight quickly. Thank you

I installed this for the first time two days ago and immediately received this error when attempting to save with either the "power" or "shutter" events checked, even with all 4 slots assigned. Rebooting was all that I needed to do though, then the settings would save fine.
