The client logs in via OCS protocol. It could be that libattica doesn't handle these characters correctly, or that the server has trouble with them.
The client itself just takes the input as is and sends to the server via libattica.

I checked the code in attica. It takes the user name and password, applies standard percent encoding and POSTs it to the server (SSL-encrypted).
So it should arrive intact at the server and I assume there is a bug on the server side when further processing the login.

The server programming guy is on holidays, though. Maybe X-Fade can look into this?

In the last 3-4 days i again get the same "login error" error

same error here for few past days. and it doesn't show packages in client. though i can see updates and update from system. so i think something got broken in client<->server side

it's not down, its just there is some error. it happened before. X-Fade is little bit busy lately, so let's give some time, it would be fixed i hope soon.

Question, on the site where it asks you to choose the right variant...

i only see PR 1.0/1.1 ... Am i missing something? I'm not able to find any other way to select this... I'm on PR 1.3
