Or just change to another OS and device and it's right there.

Guys. All people both here and in the real isn't developers. I don't think Jolla benefits\approves from your answers. Personally I would rather see a nicer answer. After all, this is the user experience thread and experience and exceptions are always different between people.

Att least 2-way sync will work with Google calendar if you want.

Please note that the Google sync adapter will (starting from the coming update) sync changes you make to Google calendar events back up to Google servers, and in the future the same will be true for contact information, if you have enabled Google sync. You can disable the Google sync service if that is unacceptable to you.

I hope Jolla and Mozilla can work together to get Firefox OS apps running on Sailfish OS because they seem to have quite a few good applications in their marketplace. https://marketplace.firefox.com/
