Hi everybody!

My N900 should be delivered tomorrow (Wed). It was supposed to arrive today, but I was not home.

Just a quick n00b question: is there a restriction on sending private messages until I have enough posts?

Thanks,

- mp

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy an N900 in the coming weeks and am very excited about the possibilites, but afraid of the complexity of Linux.
I'm an expert when it comes to hardware and the Windows OS but have no idea about the innermost workings of Linux, much less on a phone.

I joined these forums because I thought you guys would make it easier for me to migrate from Symbian and harness the full power of the N900.
Hope I'm not wrong.

Hello from Stuttgart, Germany!
I got my N900 three days ago, and yesterday it stopped recognizing my sim card. So I can play with it, but not make a call :-/
I hope this will get fixed in PR1.2?!

Hello from Finland!

I got mine n900 2 months ago and it works perfectly for me.
I found everything I need on this forum.
Main programs I use is VPN, VNC, and browser and yes they even work without PR1.2

Only email and battery sucks IMO.
