And when you really have to wait before the screen is built up turning to portrait mode, you might consider deleting history in MicroB (really, that's a bug in some way), check your free space in rootfs, reboot or reflash.

Well, Nokia has something cooking for the rest of the world, my guess is the new OVI suite 3, check here: http://events.nokia.com/everyoneconnect/
Maybe they specifically delayed PR1.2 to coincide with this to show a new found TLC between their products.
Just my own wild guess, either way it's in only 16 hours from now.
Normally, I'd be following an announcement like this very closely, but Nokia has gotten me to lose nearly all my optimism. I'd rather be surprised than disappointed again. Believe me, I would be surprised.

I got the N900 with the full understanding that it was in it's infancy and would take time to reach it's full potential. That was 5 months ago and no sign of this happening. In fact it's quite the opposite with all the attention about to shift to meego.
