Pre-Sold Backlog. some order details shows: est ship date: 12-07-2009//est. delivery date: 12-10-2009.The service request handle by a dell rep is SR #XXXXXX. Kindly view order details when it got shipped thru your e-mail. Logo an to support.dell.com . Click on My Account for more updates too.

No estimated ship date on the status page but looks like another batch maybe going out today. Still no change from mine though...we'll see.

Yes looks like that. I ordered some more from Dell last night. They are all supposed to arrive on or before the 17th so they must be going out soon.
EDIT: Make that the 3rd e-mail with the same response...now he's just filling up my inbox!

I just called Dell, but I wish I hadn't as it was a complete waste of time.
Order on 11/05 with the 'deal', expected ship Dec 10 to NJ. Was given the Jan 2010 line, asked to speak to supervisor, wait 3 mins and the line cut off..
I'm at the point where I actually just want to wait until Jan or Feb for the order to ship to reduce the chance of hardware issues (or if Nokia or someone else announces a similar phone)

So my n900 is at my local Fed-Ex facility. I called (fed-ex) to ask if I could pick the package up. They said that it was not allowed to be picked up by the request of the shipper (Dell). I'm not upset, but I'm just curious as to the rational behind now allowing pickup of the package.
Oh well, it should be at my house tomorrow!
FYI, ordered 11/25 shipped 12/4 (in case people were wondering).
