rm -rf *

I did everything by copy and paste it to be precise. But when I get to the grub boot menu I select:

1.NITDroid blah

and press "1" then the boot message comes up. It is seems to boot just fine and passed the boot screen but stuck afterward with a cursor at the top corner.

This is what it looks like on my N900 right now. It has been like this for 20mins already.

Do i need to umount it later or leave it mounted before boot up? or do I have to mounting it everytime when I want to use NITdroid side?

you need mount it everytime you need edit something in nitdroids files in maemo s maemo wont automount ext3
