Looks like Nokia can't even respond on their own website. You'd think someone from Nokia (who either surfs here or on Nokia Support) would make a statement - even if it says 'its coming'!

Nokia and customers don't seem to mix do they. I think they could learn something if they only thought about us for 30 seconds.

If anyone says I'm a troll or am whinging will get told to @@@@ ***.
I don't think I'm being impatient either. Day 3 no update while the rest of the world sits back grinning with their faster and slicker N900's.....I'm not bitter
I'm just a pissed customer.

Why? I want the N900 to be a success like the rest of us. Leaving out certain groups without explanation isn not on - even if we had a message saying its not coming to us or its coming but later - will do!

I got fed up of waiting and flashed mine too.

Pretty painless procedure really. I only lost my startup video and the theme changed, otherwise everything's back to normal. The backup app works like a dream.

I realise the update is not that important, but I'm pretty sure the next one will be and I don't want to be hanging round for days (weeks/months?) for Nokia to get off their collective backsides and release a UK specific version.

You've inspired me to flash my N900 too. I have a UK version and I don't even live in the UK so what the heck?

Apologies for not reading the whole thread, but as a UK user who got their update OTA on Tuesday (in Truro, Cornwall) I thought I'd check in.

Ie, the dev api's and things i have installed... - god knows what i have installed... (Or probably doesnt)
After it flashed I restored the backup, and after that it spent quite a while downloading all of the applications that I had previously installed. Everything seems to have restored without a problem.
