I reported bug in autobuilder which is blocker for new version of kernel-power in extras-devel: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12326

@luketanti: I can enable it, but in next release v49

Isn't it better to upload new version with only armel target enabled until bug is fixed? And once it is fixed to upload version for all targets and new patches requested in meanwhile.

My thoughts exactly. I know it's not ideal, but kernel-power48 has been out for around a month now, and hasn't hit the repos solely due to repo issues.

I think it's better to push it out now, then just version-bump whenever the bug is fixed.

hi guys a relative noob here with a question, if i wanted to upgrade from kpv47 to v48 which deb(s) from page 1 should i download?

do i need to uninstall the previous kernel 47 to install these debs? is it fully stable for noobs like me. and the things that are written which are not working..are they still not working?

If it was safe enough for noobs it would have been in the devel repos or even better in the extras repos by now...It does come with a warning so backup before u try it...

Not quite the case. @pali has posted that he has been having problems with the autobuilder so it's not in repos as yet.

If you are a (relative) noob..and not really confident installing the debs, it may be best to wait for an update from @pali
