Exactly! The application needs to be running though. The string will be shorter, it's just for testing. I was thinking about adding some info, if game is finished, upcoming or running.

The data is provided by openligadb.de (not my project), so it should be possible for everyone to add french championship, but it would take a lot of time to add the matchdays including the results (see other leagues than german ones, goalgetters are missing already). I'm very busy right now, so I don't have the time to add other leagues, champions league and euro league is also on the wishlist. And it's not done with that, somebody should feel responsible for the whole championship and will add results of future matchdays.
I don't have the time to update the database for all leagues, so sorry for that!

Version 0.8.0 could be downloaded from the first post, some minor bug fixes and some new features:

1. -LPM Screen support via Billboard Standby
2. -penalties are shown in brakets in goalgetters view
3. -you can select the league the applications starts with

Let me know, if there are some problems before I send it to QA.

Edit: Unfortunately I've a bug to report When disabling Billboard from within the app, the string that was added to Billboard is not removed. It takes a few seconds to do the manual removal so don't fret too much if it takes up a huge amount of time to get it right

Hmm, this works on my N9 without problems.

Could you provide your billboard content?
Could you start meegoal via terminal
and post the last lines of the output?

With the update of billboard standby to 1.0.7 I included some colors to keep the look and feel consistent.

I will test it during the weekend and if there are no errors I will send it to QA (cross fingers )

P.S.: Before someone asks: The logo of the team is not included in meegoal and I will not include it in the future cause of copyrights

"Umlaute" (ä,ö,ü,) are not shown correctly.
As far as I remember this was not the case before latest Billboard update...
Is there anything I need to change in order to fix this?

Yes, it's because billboard 1.0.7 uses utf8-encoding now, previously it was ISO 8859-1.
Changed it already in the new version so no problem, but thanks for reporting.
