An update is coming for Sticky Notes soon which fixes some issues that you guys found lately.

- It will no longer put your widgets onto the wrong place
- It will no longer forget the Z order of the widgets

I'm testing it right now, will upload it to Extras-Devel once it is okay.

There is a serious catch though:
After the upgrade, your previous widgets will forget their previous position.
(Of course, they should remember it afterwards.)

Okay, the new Sticky Notes update is out now!

Here is the changelog since the last public release:

Version 0.2.3 (unreleased)
* Color and font dialogs: button captions fixed
* Some small optimalizations
* Speed improvements with the Quick Options dialog
* After-install dialog removed (it annoyed many people)
* The bold/italic buttons on the font dialog work now
* Minor changes to description
Version 0.3.0 (new release)
* Sticky Notes now lets Hildon-Desktop manage the position of its widgets
* The issue in which the widgets appeared on the incorrect desktop is now resolved
* The Z-order of the widgets is now properly maintained

Note that the Sticky Notes widgets that you had before the update will forget their positions after installing the update, but of course they will remember it afterwards.
(This is a necessary tradeoff for the above fixes. I'm sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused.)

Thank you for your continuing enthusiasm in testing my little app.

Yesterday I had to get my N900 to a repair centre, 'cause it began to malfunction.
Thus, developments will be delayed till I get it back.
Until then, I'm awaiting for more feedback.

I'm now using my good old N95 for 2 weeks.
(Maybe I'll learn Qt for Symbian )
