The "top menu bar" will appears.

And I just need to press the "most left" for task switcher and works fine. Just tested it.
Ctrl+N opens a new window. I don't consider that to be exiting fullscreen mode.

Ahhh, Now I notice that . yeap, I guess thats a workaround rather than to turn off the device to exit the chromium full screen.

A lot of nice shortcuts work.

Ctrl-w close the current window/tab
Ctrl-o open file from file system
Ctrl-s save page (or image, I presume) to file system
Ctrl-u page source (yay, developers!) - this can also be closed with ctrl-w
Ctrl-y new tab
Ctrl-n new window
Ctrl-r reload
Ctrl-d bookmark current page
Ctrl-f find on page (couldn't figure out how to exit this, though)
Ctrl-g same as previous?
Ctrl-h history
Ctrl-j downloads
Ctrl-b bookmark bar
Ctrl-shift-b all bookmarks
Ctrl-shift-j developer tools (dom, js, css...)
Ctrl-shift-q quit Chrome
Ctrl-click link open in new tab
Ctrl-p print ;)

Ctrl-blue-s zoom in
Ctrl-blue-f zoom out
Ctrl-blue-0 reset zoom

You can disable flash by entering

about:plugins as your address.

Other similar "about" -screens are:

about:network
about:stats
about:cache
about:histograms
about:dns
about:version
about:memory
about:crash

I am sure there are more, so please tell us as you find them. Most of all we're looking for the "exit fullscreen" or "open location" (should be ctrl-L, but isn't), so we can open addresses while full screened.

And I know this isn't really news - it can be looked up from any desktop chrome installation, but I just wanted to see what works. I didn't test all the about: screens, but about:plugins definitely works and I disabled Flash from there.

Or you could just use Ctrl-backspace in any app on the N900 to show the task manager... Then you don't need to open a new window just to get out of full screen.

can't seem to install this. When I entered the commands in xterm I got this:

cannot access archive: no such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing.
libxss-1.3.3

Any clues why I'm getting this message and how I can install these packages? Appreciate any help.

Are you logged in as root?

"sudo gainroot"

edit: Anothing bonus is that Youtube with Chromium will allow diferrent bitrate levels. (ftw)

Google docs and Calendar crash on me so I guess it doesn't work at the moment.
