wasnt qwerty invented to slow typing down because hardware "type writers" couldnt haddle the speed people were typing. Why not just go for a normaly laid out alphabet.

Maybe im wrong. I dont know.

would help us dyslexic. Or would it. :P

If the device is going to be sold later this year, the hardware was firmed up this time last year, maybe tweaked here and there, but nothing major - is that usually the case since testing, QA, and certification takes on the order of 3-8 mos?

So wouldn't this thread technically be a year late in terms of asking Nokia (or Maemo/MeeGo licensees) to change their mind? Or, are the folks here only able to see incrementally better than what's already been offered?

In both cases, we'd be just blowing a lot of air towards something we technically don't have much control over (which kind of defeats the purpose of the thread).

Just thinking aloud...

Everything the N900 has, able to boot maemo 5 or meego, and HDMI connectivity, recording,

Dont forget about XENON flash instead of the dual led!

My brother had a N900 and after his N900 was stolen, he have a E7.

The E7 is more beautiful but N900 more powerfull and have a better slide, a better keyboard and a better OS!

one thing I'd want on the N950 is a USB port that doesn't fall off after a few months
