That would be dope as hell. I could possibly build a web front end for that...
Hmm what do you mean by "displaying route on top of an actual map?"
Logging played tracks should not be too difficult to implement, but it is not the first priority now as I still have to tune the basic functionality in Qt version.

What kind of statistics you are looking for?

Hi! Thanks for responding. I am right now in the Activity Log (ecoach>Activity log), opened one of my last logs and have all the data: Track 1, "MyAct", 2010-03-16 14:47 - 15:09.

Many data under that, from activity name to average heart rate and maximum heart rate at the bottom.

Three icons on the left: a folder with papers (for opening activity log files), "<<" and ">>". On the right, a single icon: a partially folder paper, something like a map, which goes to the map of my run, where there are only "-" and "+" icons.

I can't find any heart icons, and if I click on the title bar nothing comes up. What am I doing wrong?

These are the kinds of statistics I am looking for - the heart rate graphics.

BTW, Zephyr offers load of interesting other data, I just got its SDK. Are you considering using them on future versions?

Thanks for your excellent program. It's an amazing piece of art.

Info in the activity log is inside HildonPannable, try to swipe it from right side and you see the graphs

Maybe some other data could be utilized but currently i have no plans for them.

Make sure that you have enough moisture between your skin and the belt (I usually put water on the belt before training).

And finally which version of eCoach you are using?

No heart rate in the data view, always get N/A
when I first connected, the bluetooth icon was blue. Im assuming that bluetooth is working as I was able to detect and pair it with my n900...
Will try more moisture, maybe that is it...
Latest version of ecoach..
Im not cycling now, but will give this another go on Sun...

EA has Announced the Wii game "Sports Active 2.0" with a Heart Monitor accessory included.

The Controller communicates with the Nintendo Wii via Bluetooth so I guess the Heart Monitor could do it the same way. If we find out how the communication works we could get a cheap heart rate monitor alternative?

Okay, not for the professional workout, but of course for the ones that do only a single yearly workout after the christmas season...

What do you think?

This i didnt know! Lets hope that you can buy those HR monitors separately and that the bluetooth protocol is not encrypted

Yes, lets hope.

I posted only to say that this cheap possibility could perhaps exist in the near future. Its only announced by EA without any specific details. But lets see.

And when you can buy this only in the bundle with the game it's also okay for me. About 60€ for the Game instead of 160$ "only" for a (okay, really good) heart rate monitor are still enoght money for a great Naviapp from Sygic.

Finally got this working - it was down to not enough moisture on the belt holding the HRM. Running it under the tap before riding fixed it...

Have to say - I have been using ecoach for 2 weeks in anger now, and its brilliant, haven't had any problems and now the heart rate monitor is working Im one very happy man :-)

I can remember seeing some screen shots of ecoach where the data collected was plotted on charts - is this an add on? Where is the option to do this? That would be really cool, at the moment I have to open the data folder and look at each ride individually, and at 2 a day - its time consuming!!!

Thx
