I jumped the Nokia boat considering Newegg stopped replying to my e-mails and has no idea when they'll have it in stock, I'm shipping it to a friend who's leaving the country mid december so I had to make sure she got it before then. In the end Nokia is only about $40 more expensive when you consider they charge tax and Newegg doesn't, but then again Nokia does have a better return (read: refund) policy in case I get a unit with hardware issues.

I swear the recession must have hit NewEgg's Customer Service Center hardcore....

Cause I've got like four cases already of customer dissatisfaction in less than two weeks. Out of the countless number of Customer Service reps I've talked to only one has apologized and offered credit for time and frustration caused.

I also sought help from their community site to seek help from their staff as I read that they were helpful. Unfortunately after sending messages clearly and calmly explaining these experiences he has ignored my messages. Which lead me to believe the incompetence is now company wide.

I hope they send me a email asking why I canceled my pre-order. I'm happy to send a preformatted reply on why they failed so hard.

I figured out that I have spent over $20,000 on parts, cameras, media equipment, phones, etc from Newegg.com since 2001. I am a *very* good customer IMHO, and for the first time ever I have cancelled my order and ordered through someone else.

My order was placed this morning direct with Nokia and has already shipped, eta friday. Good riddance, Newegg.

If you have a NewEgg order, you need to pull the Ejector handles.
