I think, the ME45 was even better. Same firmware, much more robust casing. Just great.

My (phone) device timeline:

(Nokia all the way!) :-)

1. Nokia 5110
2. Nokia 7110
3. Nokia 6310
4. Nokia 6820 (had a clever, split, flip-open Qwerty keyboard)
5. Nokia E70 (same keyboard as 6820; great screen resolution; under-rated device)
6. Nokia N78 (voice navigation!) ;-)
7. Nokia N900 (although I'm amazed my N900 keeps on getting satellite locks indoors!) :-)

I also had the following Palm PDA's (great devices):

1. Palm m105
2. Palm Zire
3. Palm Tungsten E
4. Palm TX

Something made me find my old cellphones and try to charge them, to see if they still work. My old Motorola v635 is still working pretty good, but some buttons need to be clicked harder/couple of times. Couldn't find a charger for my other phone, so I don't know if it works.
Here are couple of photos:

V635 Megapixel (!!)

and V220
