Using your logic, E72 should be bigger. Did it get bigger?
How come you completely ignored the point which is. they are getting smaller?
Please link me to this "Product Placement" stuff of yours.
This is your opinion. Don't state as though it is fact. Were you part of the designers meeting for the E72? Can you link me where you found this fact?
A survey conducted at my university shows 76% of people did not buy the n900 because of lack of Portrait operation.

Conversations.Nokia and a few other press releases at the time.
The survey carried out was not an internal one but conducted by a professional research company over 5 european cities.

Our own company usage studies actually showed that greater than 63% of such users found the menus being portrait orientated annoying.

I have tried to answer posts directly but as I am using the N900 itself to post it isn't always easy to cut and paste between posts. Traffic at a higher rate sometimes overlaps and I am not the most dominent poster here, I believe there are others too.
