I have never said that I don't support the CSSU (Hint: Maybe check the CSSU Preferences applet in Maemo5 closely).

In my world "Support" means actually doing something though.
And you have not outlined yet what you will do once you have the poll result (well, you wrote "talking to Reggie to talk to Nokia" - that sounds rather vague and unintentionally funny).

Talk is cheap.

I am sorry you feel this way and i apologise if you did not know the Poll is public so i need to go and edit my opening post.

Talk can be cheap but this Poll has more than one meaning which you have found out.

What is needed is constructive comments as to what can be done to achieve the goal of Nokia allowing the source code of closed components to the CSSU team on this very Community.

Does the CSSU team support this request to Nokia to its full extend (*all* closed source components)? If so, where did they express it?

That is a very strange question coming from you as i would have thought you know very well the struggle they are going through not having any support whatsoever from Nokia.

Dev's need at lease full access to source code to enable progression in the first place so ask yourself if they need or not.
The CSSU need all the input they can get from this Community.

I have already stated i will have a crack at this but no way i will without full access to source.

Please remember all coders want the same and many have backed off simply because of the lack of essential code needed.

A lot will come out of this Poll as you will find out in due course.

This Poll does not have a time limit by the way and is open ended.

Read in between the lines and opinions start to make sense also the idea's coming out from the members are very good indeed.
And as i have years of experiance myself, i speak common sense but you seem to want to start a war here yes?.

One thing that has came out so far is the gap between MeeGo and Maemo that is somehow not coming together enough for some reason or another and it needs to also progression is slow because of lack of code.

Many people want this code from Nokia and the idea of the poll is to bring out as many idea's as possible so make this happen if at all, you know the old saying... nothing ventured nothing gained.

There is no argument, this is about progression of Maemo OR MeeGo whichever can move forward with the help of community members.

Please allow the members of this Community to have there say without hogging this thread as it is for them not you and i ok.

Answers coming out of the poll are either "Yes" or "No". My question was not a yes or no question, but rather what you will do with the poll results. Would be nice if you could answer this, as you started the poll. If you have no idea why you start polls though, you might consider to not start polls anymore, as they might become random.

Proofs for that statement welcome. Plus your definition of war seems to be my definition of discussion. From my years of experience though I know that this is a normal discussion and not a war, because my common sense tells me this and it is always right.

However I asked you for your plans what you will do with the results of this poll, and you have not answered this yet.
