Dimensions and weight also look ok.

Jolla is 131 x 68 x 9.9
Lumia 920 is 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7mm

It's a bit longer than Lumia 920, though to me that is the exact dimension that can stretch compared to thickness or especially width. Not bad, though not excellent either compared to phones like Moto X.

No, it's not the right conclusion, though I don't expect LPM.

Nokia 501 701 and 920 among others have LPM on LCD screens, with Asha, Symbian and Windows Phone respectively.

IPS seems good I definitivly prefer on laptops and desktop screen atleast.

More on IPS from WIKI:

Advantages

IPS panels display consistent, accurate color from all viewing angles and without having any blur.
Unlike TN LCDs, IPS panels do not lighten or show tailing when touched. This is important for touch-screen devices, such as smartphones and tablets.[6]
IPS panels can process high speed signals without data loss by using copper wiring with low resistance values.
IPS Panels offer clear images and stable response time.[6]

Disadvantages

IPS panels require up to 15% more power than TN displays.
IPS panels are more expensive to produce than TN displays.

IPS panels are the norm on none AMOLED phone screen these days. I would expect nothing else from +300 euro device.
IPS itself doesn't tell too much, so it's up to see it in your own eyes before we can say anything about the display quality.

Good examples are Nokia Lumia 520 and 620. According to the Nokia's specifications both have IPS displays, but the quality difference is huge when you compare the phones side by side.

Wondering whether the Jolla Phone uses capacitive touchscreen or a resistive touchscreen? Did I miss the answer to that question yet?

I doubt it's going to be resistive. It doesn't allow multitouch.
