Am I right in thinking that a company such as this would have a regular time each day that Royal Mail would come and collect their post? If so that'd normally be the afternoon wouldn't it? If so, then I should probably stop refreshing in the hope it'll change to "Dispatched" shouldn't I? lol.

On the whole the courier industry works on deliveries am collections pm unless the business is mile from anywhere when the collections are done with the deliveries. Obviously there's a benefit to businesses to have as late a collection as possible as you can take orders later for next day despatch... the more parcels you send the later you can get a collection usually. As MPD probably knock out a lot of parcels I would guess at t least a 5pm collection giving them 2 hours to get a phone out from their 3pm deadline.
