Are you working on this problem that is preventing many people the full use of MFE sync (at least with Exchange 2003 server)?
Sorry, could you put a link to the bug or message in this forum about this topic? I can't recall the problem you refer to right now.

Another topic: we have seen MeeGO announcement from Nokia & Intel.
Many things are still unclear though...for istance: the new SO would be totally opensouce. Does this include the closed source apps like MFE or Calendar/ Phone application ?
This is not the question I am allowed to answer.

That's Bug 7971 (a.k.a. int-153680).

But this is not about recurrent events. This is about allowing the user to select tasks and calendar to be synced independently of each other.

The bugzilla entry certainly looks to be about recurring events. This bug is about separating tasks & calendar. Or do you mean the internal bug? If so, that'll need correcting/removing on bugzilla.

Hi Vitaly !

Nice to hear from you again...the bug listed in this link is described as "mail for exchange freezes when trying to sync calendar and tasks".

I think it is the right bug for my case and also for the case of many other users. Don't know what is the exact cause but for me it seems the correct bug reference.

good work

I also think it was the correct bug. Anyway also the bug 5632 that you signal is quite important and also (I think) easy to resolve (it is a matter only of add an option to the selection menu)

It would be nice to have also the notes synced (of course as a separate item) during activesync MFE process.

Thanks. it is nice to hear that.
The bug id was given in the previous message and I confirm that is Bug 7971 (a.k.a. int-153680).

I decided not to return N900 and wait for your work on fix this bug.
I hope we'll see the bug fixed in the nex SW update PR 1.2 or in a specific update for MFE.
I would really love to start using seriously the N900. I hope the PR 1.2 will improve a little also the basic SW apps (Modest, Calendar etc) and will not be limited to introduce the QT 4.6 (that they will be useful for developers but that don't help the common business user right now).

Looking forward to hear good news from you soon,
Regards,
Cesare
