hi all,
Opera is such a great browser.i am using opera since i bought my N900,
but now,I cant open Opera from few days.
i've installed many applications so i dont know which one created a problem for Opera.
i've also installed CSSU (stable)
can any one help me on this or i should create a new thread?
solutions and suggestions are welcomed

Start opera from the terminal and check for error messages. You can also try removing the profile dir (/home/user/.opera).

@unexpected,

You can start by checking if all required libraries are present on your system. Open the terminal and do:

$ cd /opt/opera/bin
$ ldd ./opera

post the output here. If that's too much of a problem just have a careful look at the output and post only the lines which mention something about a missing file.

If you are excited to use it again why don't you install it again

apt-get install --reinstall opera

no need to worry all your data will be saved AFAIK.

Thats your problem right there. The browser can't find the Nokia Sans font, I'm guessing you have customized the fonts on you phone by all out replacing Nokia Sans.

Put the original TTF files back into a new subdirectory in /usr/share/fonts and the browser will find them.

yeah thats the problem,thanx
i dont have those Nokia Sans fonts can you link me?
after replacing the modified fonts with nokia sans,can i use the modified fonts again?if no then how
sorry for lots of questions...(& for offtopic)

No, I don't know if/where the original fonts are available for download.

Yes, you can place the original fonts in /home/user/.fonts or create a new subdirectory in /usr/share/fonts to store them in.

hmm.if you havent modified your fonts,then you can send me a copy of your fonts
this may solve my problem
