I think we can all agree there needs to be more technical info released, before we can be 100% certain about any of these permutations.
Honestly not trolling... I hope you see that!?!

That's just what was so bizarre...
What was there calm-down about, I wasn't getting worked up, LOL!
Fair enough point, still far from a "smoking gun".
Another fair enough point, but again not a definitive answer.
You seem to be working on the assumption that it must be implemented as a switching mechanism between: MHL implemented via mUSB, & the 3.5mm port.
I imagine you assume that because there's already one "tv-out", so why would they bother w/a 2nd via mUSB.
That in itself is a pretty good reason...
Hence why we need to be certain it can't have been implemented the way you suggest.
But there's also the possibility that MHL can be implemented directly via 3.5mm AV, that has not yet been disproved.
Finally...
It's unlikely they've also implemented TV-out via mUSB, given TV-out's already implemented via AV 3.5mm.
But I don't see how we can discount the possibility that mUSB MHL cannot be enabled via hacking attempts later on.
I think we can all agree there needs to be more technical info released, before we can be 100% certain about any of these permutations.

Well, what evidence - at all - is there that there's any form of HD output?
Urho Konttori says "there is no HDMI", the spec sheets don't mention it and only talk about "TV-out".
I don't think you're trolling - I think you're just setting yourself up for disappointment (along with those who hoped PR1.3 would bring Flash 10.1)
Now please stop filling peoples heads with candy floss ideas that just aren't true and have no basis on reality in the slightest. I could say the N9 has actually got an IR emitter around the camera, but it doesn't, there is _no_ basis for that information, you've just made it up.

game description is hilarious
Elop is a mischievous boy. He is on a platform and want let it burn! Please help (not him!) and shoot the water on the fire. You will only win, if you can drop Elpo from the platform. Are you a hero?

I haven't ever claimed that the feature's there, I've merely called for proof that it's not there or not do-able.
That proof certainly hasn't come from you, you responses have simply consisted of "shut up".
One looks in the back seat of one's car and finds no adult-sized kangaroos and then uses this negative/null adult-sized kangaroo detection results in conjunction with the previously determined fact (or just plain old proposition) that adult-sized kangaroos, if present, cannot evade such detection, to deduce a new fact that there are indeed no adult-sized kangaroos present in the back seat of said car.

I was thinking in a broad sense, not just the Media Player widget but other controlling widgets -

So when a lead developer in the N9 says no HDMI, that isn't proof enough for you? ...
