So I went to this gipsy fair circus amazon magic ball fortune teller palm reader mystic kind of women yesterday.... and asked her about the N900, if she could tell me, for certain, when I would hold the N900 in my hands.

Do you know what she said???

"My dear boy (I'm 30, she was like ancient, so okay), you will hold this precious device in your hand in november this year!" *lights flashing in the globe*. Oh wow, really? "Yes, realllly." And when will I get it? "That my dear boy, even my mystic orb of doomed powers cannot fortell...." *more lights flashing in the globe*

So wait a minute, you told me I'd be using the phone in november.... but...but I allready knew that! Come on! What kind of mystic fortelling is that? Google? :S

I tried to get my money back, for suddenly a lot of monkeys tried to attack me, and since I did not have the N900 to fend of with, I made a run for it.

So euhm, just thought I'd share this with you.... Too weird to be true, I know! But hey, at least we will have the device in our hands in November!

called Nokia Germany 5 Minutes ago.
I've said, that a friend of mine (kingofkingz24) told me, that the N900s will ship tomorow, if this is true.
She said, that she don't know, it's possible, but the only official known date is the 30 October.
She also said, that it is possible, that we get our devices before the official date, with a letter "surprise, here is your beloved N900" from Nokia.
And she also said, that they have enough devices to fullfill every preorder.
Then she looked into my preorder and said, that I will be one of the first who will get it. :-D

Hey zehjotkah, I preordered from Nokia Germany, too, and just sent a message to them, asking the same as you did. Let's see what they'll answer. I preordered mine on 29th August. When did you place your preorder?

For what it's worth, digitec in Switzerland pushed back the availability from mid-October to mid-November...

they got my money on first of october, so I've preordered some days before..
but I've ordered with express shipping ;-)

my supplier also says he will get the devices tomorrow.
so, i still hope i will get in on wednesday

I'm seriously going ape ****, where the ****ing is my ****ing phone, Nokia get off your ****ing asses and give us our ****ing phones...I mean come on, you've changed the date so many ****ing times, I swear I can't remember any of them...****, ****, ****, ****, ****edy, ****, ****...
