The N800 and N810 have the same size screen.

I hate to disappoint you, but N800 and N810 appear to have exactly the same screen size:

Which goes to show that maybe people will not notice the difference in the N900 and N800 / N810 screen either

Were you just kidding with that post - I don't believe that you REALLY thought they were different sizes ?

Look what I just found in the SDK! It's under "Settings / Restore original settings" if you want to see for yourselves.

I guess this is confirmation that we're getting a phone, eh?

EDIT: More confirmation from the SDK!

When starting up the desktop, I see this error:

Code:
hildon-home[2930]: GLIB WARNING ** default - /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/connui-cellular-operator-home-item.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Interesting... A "cellular operator home item," eh?
Why is this not being picked up more? I mean, if this is true (I haven't looked at the SDK for this) then I would of thought Engadget and the likes would be all over the fact that Nokia are bringing out a Linux based phone! Unless of course the disclaimer is aimed at people who use Skype and the likes to make emergency calls? Kind of a big confirmation of what we are going to see?

Not exactly. The N800 screen is a TINY bit larger. But the difference may appear greater than it actually is.

Perhaps this is a home applet that shows to which operator you are connected, and not some branding/advertising application as everyone here seems to assume?
