Hi guys,

I just logged a bug where some email receipients' address went missing when REPLY_ALL mails. I'm using MfE syncing with exchange 2007.

IMO this is a very serious bug and please vote for this bug (PR#9214) if you encounter it as me.

Thanks.

The problem with voting for bugs is that it asks you for another username and password.........kind of obstructionist

Yeah, only those that occur within two weeks. I have tried all settings from "sync calendar back" like, 1 month, all entries etc. It simply doesn't download the events (occurring in more-than-two-weeks time) on the N900 calendar.
Sync stops if you "check" the "sync contacts" field.
I'm wondering what would happen if you try to create another calendar separate from the default "N900"

Currently the N900 MfE implementation will not synchronise recurring events (i.e. events that are set up with a repeat schedule). They synchronise fine into an empty calendar, but will then fail when synchronised a second time. See https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7971 - please vote for the bug, but do not add a "me too" comment.

Hi T,

I have hundreds of folders so I installed mfefolders so that i only sync the inbox. The problem i am having is that mfefolders takes about 30 seconds to start then when it has shown me the list of folders it only gives me about 30 seconds to start unchecking before it closes by itself. Now i dont even have enough time to scroll down to uncheck the rest. Do you have an idea what could be the issue. I am using version 0.23-3.

Cheers

Eug

Open the xterm and start the MfEfolders from there. that is:
Code:
/home/opt/mfefolders/mfefolders.py
At least for me it works like that uninterrupted.

For me, N900 MfE synchronizes recurring events flawlessly (Exchange 2007 host). They are visible in the N900 calendar, with notes like "(Complex repeat. Unable to edit.)" or "Repeat Every month, Until Friday 18 December 2037". So the bug must be related to specific configurations of Exchange server or specific types of recurring events.

This happens everytime I n900 syncs with exchange.

I had a thread here, but figured this might be a better place.

A quick summary of the other thread:[INDENT]I am running Exchange 2003 with a Self-Signed Certificate, this is all working correctly, the instructions to get this working were simple and easy to follow.
The bug is fixed. I have added the problem statement and workaround to the wiki.

Thank you for finding and excuse us for facing this problem.

I have voted for this bug. Didn't add a comment because it wasn't necessary. What I don't understand is... why did it work the first time I have sync'd it. Why PR 1.0 worked, and why it didn't work after updating to 1.1.1? Anyway I don't really need to see events occurring later than two weeks as the calendar is already full.

Just got an N900. We run a Zimbra Server that I have synced successfully with an iPhone 3G, Google Nexus One and Motorola Droid using activesync. I set up the N900 using the usual credentials and as others have mentioned the last 10 or so emails have the dreaded "no recipient" and the messages are blank. The first several hundred (I sync 3 days) are OK. Contacts and calendar seem to work fine.

Has a fix been identified for this? I've tried IMAP but it's just too slow as it downloads all my messages (like 6000 or so).
