I have rootsh, just browsing the MOD thread, but it's huge and too much scattered info for me to learn from. Is there somewhere I can find basic info on changing icons?

Accessing your files and folders is easier this way. Once you manage this, then everything else will make much more sense in this thread..........and trust me when I say it's worth slowly reading this entire thread. Many great minds on this one, plenty of great work.

That's not a good look for you...

You might want to search for RD mode I believe is what it is called.

How did you accomplish that?

Probably not right to crash this thread ( refer....maemo.org > Talk > OS / Platform > Maemo 5 / Fremantle > Can't re-flash N900 because it wont turn off!), although things have progressed and are somewhat worse now! I do note though that if you search "N900 won't boot" in these forums there are many examples!

Sounds like you have a handle on it. I've had mine like that twice and fixed it. Scared the crap out of me though!

To change the "Datetoday widget" colour/Date Png, all you do is change the calendar PNG. which will be in "Icons" file of your theme!

As it uses the same Icon as the default calendar ( if I remember right ).

Now the Facebook is a sore point coz i forgot to write it down.
I'll tell you as soon as I find it again.

i have changed the main calander icon in the menu tho & the datetoday widget has stayed the same? would i find this in 48x48 or is it in another location? i have looked all over for the files to change datetoday & facebook & these are the only 2 i have not found!
