How far he has progressed I've no idea, and there is little information in his posts... but who knows.. he may pull a rabbit out of the hat :P
From what I see he said he'd been struggling with OpenGL ES 2.
Well... Same for me. I also had been struggling with it. But don't count on me pulling the rabbit out of the hat.

Check out 'V Rally 2' guys. It's amazing with this version.

Almost full speed and the graphics are great. IMO the best graphics game for PSX

EDIT: EVEN THE SOUND is almost perfect!

So the two most playable and impressive games on PSX4m that I know of are Wipeout3 & V Rally 3.

EDIT 2: YEAH! Sweet... Tombraider 3 textures are now good! (Still slow, but the improvment is a world away!)

Thanks Smoku for the port.

Okay so upon further examination of psx4m:

1. Graphical errors in GT2 are gone - it's faster now but it still freezes when entering a race.
2. FFIX - does not freeze anymore after "New Game". opening cutscene seems to have no audio though. Some audio glitches
3. Same goes for Legend of Mana.

Do you mean both analogs and vibration support? It would be nice

To use the new commandline-only psx4m more easily you can do this:

1. Type "sudo ln -s /usr/games/psx4m /usr/bin/psx4m"
2. After this you can run psx4m from anywhere by just typing "psx4m"

That "cd ../.." is totally unneccessary here, isn't it.

Oh, yeah, you'r right there... Got mixed up because I was testing it without a symlink a minute ago and then decided to make a one. Then I shared the idea here and just quikly posted it before some more testing. Repairing it now.

I installed 4.1 version but I got segmentation fault when I run it.

Is there any configuration required after I install it?
