it does not matter how you'll install it. and as it seems somehow your dpkg DB got broken, i;d say - install it with apt-get and move on
EDIT:
or maybe it is because Nokia key expired so HAM is refusing to install from an untrusted source

Just updated, Marble doesn't work anymore - map window full of garbage. Perhaps something pango related? Anyone else facing the same problem?
Currently I don't have the time to try old packages, if it is needed I can do some digging on Sunday

One tiny issue so far.
I see the provider name twice - but as it's EE it's not a problem. Not rebooted again since the initial reboot after installation. I'll report back if it's still there after the next reboot.

... is it possible to have the package libqt4-dev_4.7.4~git20110505+cssu9+thumb0_armel.deb compiled for arm?
(in the thumb repo this deb contains qmake for i386)
Does it exist anywhere?
