yeah i know about the app manager
oh that's good cause i'm clueless when it comes to writing scripts, is there a tutorial thread on here at all? i couldn't find one using search.
already using the power kernal and am oc'd at 850mhz but the applet shortcut would be easier to oc everytime i boot my phone.

thanks for the help on the quick launch applet
got the shortcuts i wanted and it was pretty easy to edit the .desktops
1. app-man
2. open xterm in root
3. default clock settings
4. overclock to 850mhz

packaged up my little mod for having overclock buttons in your status area
from the left
sudo gainroot, opens terminal in root
default, 250 600 default clock speed
overclocked, 250 805 low voltage
extreme, 500 950 ultra low voltage
customizable to what ever you want.
note: you need quicklaunch applette installed and obviously titans power kernel and kernel power settings, both available from the repositories
dont just download if you have no experience of overclocking the n900 as some pre configuring is reqired, these are just icons that run a script, you have to set it all up first!!!

Hey mate
That's a VERY NICE mod, thanks a lot!!! But there is a small problem
Overclocked and Extreme modes don't work for me! A terminal opens but it closes and the overclock doesn't work? What have I done wrong? Terminal as root works, default too!

I think I got what's wront...
Could someone send me a copy of his LV and ULV in kernel-power-settings? Mines are f*cked up, set to 250-600 and I don't know why lol...
That's the reason why it doesn't work!!!
