loving the rate of updates, I wouldn't mind knowing when updates will be arriving although that's something I can't somplain about, after all these updates are keeping me in love with this device.

Yeah. I'm just wondering if the reboot is really required on every update, or is it "just in case" that when you update through HAM it always reboots? After all the beauty of debian/apt should be that you rarely need to reboot.
