Here's a nice meeting I'd like to do with upper management on a day of the release (like today). Get them all in a room, and then have it on a big projector on how the process of downloading the release goes...and lock the door until its complete. I'm sure upper management will get the message.

app manager is still slow as balls. It freezes out, almost like the status bar moves too fast, cause it just sits at the end for forever.

Tex, I got it. I'll upload it and post the link here.

Nevermind... can't upload it by webftp from here as the maximum size and execution time is nowhere near enough.

Guys - take it easy. A few hours earlier or later won't matter. Relax.

Are you guys trying to mirror the N810 image or the N800 one? If you're trying to make another N800 mirror you're probably wasting your time if the already existing mirrors are still running fast enough.

It's okay, jay, found the login and I'm in.

To answer TuxedoSteve's question:

I intend to upload both *legacy* support images for N800 and N810 (these images flash to all devices-- proto, early production builds, final, etc). Unfortunately, the only N810 image I have on my laptop is one for internal testing purposes so I'm having to download another image (and the rate just dropped to 135/KBps so, yeah, I do feel your pain). But it's halfway done.

Zipping the binaries shaves off maybe 10% or so of the file size but that still helps, so I'll do it. I'll post again when the images are up.

If I was getting those sorts of speeds I wouldn't be in this thread complaining.

It 10:44AM here and I am @ work, I just can't wait for the day to finish so I can go home and flash my N800 (I do not have that USB cable @ work).

I just can't wait, maybe I will take off early
