Oh c'mon, they know I've been out of the business for decades. Forget security and come down to Paris for a beer instead :-)

Yeah, sure. Last time I came home through CDG with only an hour between planes, and 45 minutes of that was eaten up by the furor over an abandoned bag on the mezzanine...

Yeah, I'm quite proud of that one... they blew it up only to find it was filled to the brim with Portuguese "bacalau" and the hall stank for days after that :-)

(seriously, it *did* happen once in Orly as I was coming back from Madeira...)

Any chance of native A2DP/AVRCP yet? (asks without much hope)

Got my hopes up again :-(
I noticed that the repo's seem knackered atm for maemo, and was hoping something was happening!
Looks like it isn't....

The N810W seems to be coming in early July, so it'll be on or maybe a little after then that we get it (perhaps we'll get another early release of the firmware like we did with Chinook, though).

Agreed. The Q2 deadline missed, slightly, it appears.

You mean for N810WE, or Diablo?

I'm pretty sure at least one of them will meet the Q2 release date...

Well, online retailers are saying 9th July for N810W. It seems unlikely to get a final Diablo release before the N810W is for sale. I'd be pleasantly surprised to get any Diablo release before the N810W is for sale.

So, either you're wrong, the online retailers are wrong, or the supposition about the synergy of the Diablo/N810W release dates are wrong.

Dug out the original press release:

owners of Nokia N810 and N800 Internet Tablets with earlier operating systems will be able to upgrade their device to the revised operating system for free during the second quarter of 2008.
So, if I can't update my N810 to Diablo before CoB 30th June 2008, the Q2 deadline is missed :-)
