Khertan,

Could you check if the command is OK? It is not working for me.

Thanks.

First of all let me say mCalendar is awesome! Good work Khertan. I was skimming through this thread and I didn't see anybody mention that mCalendar cannot view the details of an event such as location or description. This is a very important limitation, especially when you cannot just put all the details in the event box because it will be too long and run off the screen.

Has anybody used mgcal? It is a home applet only, but can view the event and location details. I think mCalendar has a better home app presentation, but if mgcal can do it then it certainly is possible.

I just upgraded to the latest version from the repositories (0.4.0) and haven't used mcalendar before. I installed it originally awhile back but never got around to fiddling with it. Anyway, I put in my google account info to sync, and no matter what it keeps telling me incorrect username or password. I know the login details are fine because I double checked and signed out in my desktop browser and signed back in with the exact same credentials being used on the n810. I even tried signing out on my desktop first, but still no success. I also tried the link mentioned earlier in this thread about unlocking the account where you have to answer a captcha and that didn't work either.

Any ideas?

Also, one little nitpick: in Help->About, "Licence" should be "License."

Keep up the great work!

I tried renaming my mcalendar.db file so it would create a new configuration database, but the problem still exists.

Works for me
You sure you left a space " " between the "mcalendar" and the "-s" ?
the synchronize option is engaged when you type either:
"mcalendar -s" or
"mcalendar - s"

but not when you type: "mcalendar-s" !

Whenever I try it, it brings up mcalendar but it won't sync.

Exactly. The same happens to me.

Ok I finally found out why it kept telling me incorrect username/password... I had zero free space left on my rootfs. This would also be why I was recently experiencing strange behavior in some other applications

Keep up the good work!
