Ok, now it works.(control panel plugin).
I had to put one app in every slot.
Control panel plugin crashed if I put only one
app in the first slot and let the other three empty.

But, I still don't know where the application search is?

Uhm..I've just noticed this strange behavior right now.
The search functionality is implemented in the dialog ( when you press the power button/lens cover, depends on what you set ).

Hi,

I've just fixed some little problems, the new version (0.7) is already in -testing :

I've fixed the control panel applet bug, now it should work.
I've removed the alphabetical sort of the app list ( in the control panel applet ) now you can search an app by typing the name (live search).

Getting these as well trying to upgrade to 0.7.1 and can't remove 0.7 either.

to remove quicklaunch see here...

new update doesnt work for me.. app installed and setup applet works, but app doesnt work on camera lens open or power button

tried a reboot also

edit: tried to install v0.6 in xterm..

Code:

setting up quiclaunch
initctl: unknown job: quicklaunch
dpkg : error processing quiclaunch (--install)
subprocess post-installation escript returned error exit status 1
...........

edit 2: okay so I uninstalled v0.6 as that didnt work, deleted all the quicklaunch files in "/var/lib/dpkg/info/" installed 0.8 and voila!

fixed!
