You can scroll with the arrow keys on the keyboard, but suppose that's not as cool as a whooooosh.
Also, slap me if I'm wrong, you can't delete notes from within the app.

As for the charger socket. I think that should have been bottom centre. Would have been a great position for designing desktop cradles.
And the lanyard hole should be where the headphone socket is now.
I slightly disagree. Lanyard hole is good where it is, on top. But microUSB/charger-socket and AV-socket should be another way around like you describe, AV-socket on top, microUSB on bottom.

I have a neck lanyard connected and sometimes I carry N900 on my neck, sometimes in my jean's pockets connected with carabiner to the belt loop of jeans so N900 stays on portrait position and is more comfortable. Having AV-connector on top in both use cases would be much easier and usable.

@Nokia: I am sure there is some logic, but I would be interested to know what is the logic having AV-connector on bottom and microUSB on top?!

What sucks, with scandinavian keyboard the up/down arrows are behind Alt-key. Causes also problems with Fennec, and Fennec developers just do not care (HUJKIO).

Resistive screens recognize touch from any matterial, skin, metal, wood, plastic, fabric, fingernails etc, while capacitive need somthing that share some electrical properties with human fingers; that's a good thing when you need to wear gloves, or you're holding a pencil and lots of other situations, but it does prove to be a disadvantage when it is bumping against the insides of your pockets unintentionally.

What I do not like:
Charging over usb only, I really miss the old nokia plug. Was much better on N95. Could charge both ways. Plug or USB.

The device is very shitty out of the box, and it really takes some time to have everything set up. If you are willing to invest the time, you will love this phone.

No Netflix support

I am actually watching Phoenix TV live stream right now with SBP TV. So there is some live TV.

But, I still love this phone, its a hobby, and it still does stuff other phones don´t. But you asked for the negatives only, so I won´t start about the good stuff.
i wasn't talking about skype 3g video calling i ment video calling as a network provider service.....

Use and get your friends to use ekiga.net
N900 works natively with ekiga.net VOIP.
Skype is bad for you and humanity, mmmkay?

Sorta odd how Nokia had integrated it into Maemo 5 so deeply then if it were bad for humanity.

How do you defend that?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skype#Protocol

It is not odd Nokia supports bad (non free nor open) protocols. Nokia also supports Flash and H.264, which are also bad for you and humanity.

Google did the right choice. YouTube will be next to remove H.264 I guess. Let's hope H.264 and Flash dies out, until if they make them totally open and free. Internet or Web should not be based on closed or patented protocols and algorithms.

Edit:
