/etc/ld.so.conf
and add in the following line:
/opt/usr/lib
Save the file, then run:
ldconfig
You should now be able to launch Columbus. If it still doesn't work, reboot your N900 and all should run. Hope this helps...

I get "File cannot be found", but I'm willing to accept that I'm doing something wrong 'cos I'm a bit of an X-term greenie.
How do you actually load that file into X-term? The rest looks simple enough.

In tools you can set it up to stream over the usb serial port that the modem usually uses in PC suite mode. With obvious side effects.
There isn't one, unless the 0.8.* packages are still in extras-devel. Otherwise you'll have to fix the 0.9 version in -devel like documented in previous posts. Or wait until I fix a couple of issues and upload a new version.
