NITDroid9 GPS driver - Check
Theoretically, if we have a built NITDroid build for the N9, then a simple bzcat NITDroid9_GPS.tar | tar xvC /and/ should install the GPS driver.

BTW, I like the name NITDroid9, just like Cyanogenmod9

Hey E-yes,
I have been working on this also (originally a dedexer, and a few other approaches). I already have a patch for android diff linux kernel 2.6.39.4
Hey E-yes,
along with tar's of the /system, /data and /dev's for ICS extracted out.
Hey E-yes,
along with tar's of the /system, /data and /dev's for ICS extracted out. I can also provide you with remote access (via VNC,SSH,proto of your choice) to a box running an either a Xeon W3550 or core-i7 2600K, Sandforce-2141 harddisk, etc. which can save a LOT of time with the compiles... PM me
Oh and init-calls can definitely 'boot' into an OS after startup without rebooting if openmode kernel is run for Harmattan.

What's this? Does it work on n900? If no, why do you think it would work on n9?

Can this bring to full Nitdroid gps support for N900?
EDIT: In other words, do the N9 GPS chip has the same Nitdroid driver development problem of N900?
Never understood the origin of the name...
