Well, you can get the GTA04 from Golden Delicious, but it is rather expensive and has some rough edges.
There is also the Vivaldi project, which is a tablet, not a mobile phone though.
Considering recent events I would say there is a far better chance of an independent group (like Goldelico or the Vivaldi project) releasing the "next" open Linux phone than any of the big established phone companies.

(History has showed it several times....
As such I've noticed that many people think WP supports multitasking. It does not. It only support task switching: background tasks are suspended and disconnected. Even their own Skype app is thrown offline. Also, bluetooth-support is laughable. No sideloading. Many things require using "the cloud", which all its privacy and reliability issues.

Very sad indeed. I feel sorry for that 10000 poor souls who gave their everything and did nothing stupid like Elop, but getting fired because of Elop !!
Even touch scren laptops are not easier to use than W7 as you've to continuously move your hand to the screen which gets tiring and irritating...
