now lets just wait it out and see i've repeated myself way too much already
I hope that you and your connections will be right... that would be great... if i could choose, i would like to have the one without the keyboard... i want a device as slim as possible... my pockets are very thin

EDIT: so slow...
I personally don't care if it has slightly inferior hardware.
I wanted my hw qwerrty
If the slate/candybar (whatever it is) has greatly superior hardware.
Then that's another matter I guess.

'cuz short of gluing the two parts (keyboard & screen) together, there is no way the RM-680 certification will hold for a dev w/out keyboard.
might as well leave it up to the consumer not to open it if said consumer doesn't like it.
like i said in a past post, the RM-680 is much too nice to be a developer device (only).
Maybe the keyboard-less consumer device won't get released in US in order not to pollute the Windows Phone strategy there. And thus no FCC certification needed.

But Nokia still wants cutting-edge US developers creating apps for the rest of the world so (US) developers get the qwerty-equipped dev device (requiring FCC certification)?!

But why the hell the flashy ad which explicitly suggests there'll be a qwerty device soon for consumers?
Gah!!!! All the speculation is killing me goddamit, I'm going to start killing kittens to satiate my rage...

i tried android one time... had the optimus speed a couple of days... and have send it back to amazon... android is nothing for me, i want real multitasking and dont want to go back 15times to close an app
and it was soo laggy... cant understand why due to the dualcore... and dont like google at all

Btw, a keyboardless device is not a must have, i will buy the keyboard-version if there is no device without the keyboard (keyboard of my n900 is nice to have), but if i can choose, i would like to have a keyboardless version... and meego is optimized to be used without hardware-keys so there is no problem of usability
