I'll state again what was said to me when i moaned about Consumer device not having KB, "You wont even want That one any way when you see the consumer one", he did not give me any details but i think its safe to say the Consumer device is packing something different to dev device.
now lets just wait it out and see i've repeated myself way too much already

I hope that you and your connections will be right... that would be great... if i could choose, i would like to have the one without the keyboard... i want a device as slim as possible... my pockets are very thin

Only way this makes sense is that the "developer phone" has different hardware (with kb but otherwise inferior) than "consumer phone". "Developer phone" is probably the one that was leaked ages ago with pictures and all (this would explain the outdated CPU and GPU spotted from Harmattan package list) and "consumer phone" is something that we have not seen yet (except maybe some quick moments in the teaser video).
EDIT: so slow...

and how quickly do you guess the "other dev" will get thru FCC?
'cuz short of gluing the two parts (keyboard & screen) together, there is no way the RM-680 certification will hold for a dev w/out keyboard.
might as well leave it up to the consumer not to open it if said consumer doesn't like it.
like i said in a past post, the RM-680 is much too nice to be a developer device (only).
