Something better than nothing ? If you want to mindlessly discuss the existence of a device which i can tell you exists be my guest.

Nokia may have taken down the teaser from YouTube, but I'm a N900 owner. Surely they realize I would have my own downloaded copy thanks to CuteTube - suckers!! haha

Well it's really ****ed if we're not finally going to get the qwerty n9 for consumers.
The qwerty-less better damn well be significantly better in every way than the qwerty.
Or it's "**** you forever Nokia"... and I'm off looking at LG/Intel offerings...
I'll keep my N900 forever of course........

now you see all the evidence is adding up from different sources too.
Dsmobile is rather older "insider" from MR forums and has been talking about "qwertyless N9" for long time.
He was the first one i have read to say that Harmattan UI will have the icons it got. The day when anna icons for Symbian leaked.
There's much much more he has gotten right and so far he is saying that consumers wont see the keyboard version. For what i have understood from his comments the non keyboard N9 wont share the industrial design that N8, E7 and RM-680 got.

really think NOKIA would spend (waste?) millions for developers to play around? the N900 (obviously) did and still is doing the job. no need of another device for that.
That's peanuts in the bigger picture. Nokia has spent billions to Qt, Maemo and MeeGo with probably seeing very little return. N900 was a niche device and they gave 400 for devs to test it for a month.

The QWERTY device is for developers only. The keyboard less variant is the one which you will want once you see it. Better specs , beautiful device. Consumer oriented and not too far away. Will not go in to specifics for obvious reasons
thank you, awesome news.

Has anyone thought that perhaps as part of MeeGo being reclassified as 'disruptive technologies', that the keyboardless device is in fact a 7-10" tablet, and not a phone? Just saying...
