hello there..i'm having problem with my nitdroid actually..

whenever i have the microSD inserted, i have to change the ITEM_DEVICE to {INT_CARD}p5 for nitdroid to boot..

if however, i remove the microSD card..nitdroid won't boot...unless....unless i edit the ITEM_DEVICE to mmcblk0p5..

so now, the situation is, nitdroid detected the microSD, and won't boot from mmcblk0p5..it needs to be {INT_CARD}p5..without the microSD, it wants to boot from mmcblk05..

any idea how to fix this?

If you want to use a microsd:
ITEM_DEVICE:${INT_CARD}pX where X could either be 2 or 5

Flexman go back into terminal and run as root and do the following
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/libwrt1_1.1.0_armel.deb
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/wrt-policy_1.0-1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/wrt_1.1.0_armel.deb
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/wrt-api_1.1.0_armel.deb
And then do apt-get install -f and afterwards do apt-get install nitdroid-installer or if you want to go down the manual package install route.
cd to /home/user/MyDocs and do the following dpkg -i nitdroid-installer_0.2.7_armel.deb

Firstly hats off to Ammyt, youre a legend.

Installed Gbread a few days ago and been loving it. Browsed through 138 pages of this thread and fixed most of my issues.

Only thing outstanding is that it wont allow me to creat a VPN,menu is blank, so created a post in the VPN thread for that. But if anyone here wants to chip in and help then please feel free.

Have noticed my n900 get really hot when running Gb, I assume this is due to the overclocking. When running maemo I usually get 26-31c but when running Gb its up to 41 and noticably hot in my hand, does make me worry about the h/w in my n900. Anything I could do to help there?

simply make another copy of the item and rename it by changing 11 to 10 then edit one of them to run nitdroid while memory inserted
