Hey Richie, me too, will be catching train at Cambridge. A collegue will probably be coming along (he has an N810, I've an n800 and a 770, am considering bringing them both).

Maybe we could meet up at the station?

Paul

I'd watch. heck, I'd probably even watch if you streamed the drinking session afterward. I'm an n900 addict.

There were a couple of unsecured networks available when I was in there on Friday - neither were obviously provided by nokia, and neither were obviously "open" beyond the fact that they were unsecured.

Cheers,

Shame I can't get to the London one. BTW has anyone else noticed that the London Flagship Store's website clock is still stuck on BST?

Does depend on where you are coming from and also the line you are on. Only a 6-7 min walk from Picadilly Circus, even with my short legs!

Yup, and unless you're already on the Bakerloo line when you reach Piccadilly Circus it's actually faster to walk than change.

Hi Paul

Turns out I might have meeting in London and may already be in town. I'll keep in touch and let you know what I'm up to once I hear from Nokia about the start time.

Cheers
Rich

So, it's not at their flagship store in Regent Street but it is held in
the St. Martins Lane Hotel ( www.stmartinslane.com )

email I've just received:

Welcome to the N900 meet-up !

The London meet-up is held in the St. Martins Lane Hotel ( www.stmartinslane.com ) Tuesday the 17th of November.

The doors open at 7.30pm and the 'official' part starts at 8pm. For the following couple of hours you will be able to meet likeminded people, as well as Maemo folks from Nokia and the community.

We will provide some nibble food and N900 demos, so you can get a feel for the device in case you have not had the chance yet or just have fun with it. The event then ends at 10pm after which we can continue the chats elsewhere. We will also have a surprise lottery at the end of the event.

As the space is limited, we have a name list at the door so we ask you to bring a piece of identification with you.

We are very excited about the N900, and we hope you are as well!

Best Regards,
The Nseries team
