my n900 does work on bbc iplayer after installing flash 10.

Probably somebody already asked before but did any of developers requested adobe flash 10.1 plugin here http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/fold...eflash-a8.html ???

Would it be possible to take the Flashplayer 10 "libflashplayer" from TI and fit it to the Nokia N900 with hardware acceleration etc.? And maybe update the new adapted Flashplayer 10 version via community ssu to Maemo/N900 then?

maybe you need to define 'work' for us. i tried the ti flash 10 lib.so hack and it wouldn't even play youtube videos in the browser. it did display the video and seemed to have a framerate of 1 frame per second. which maybe is what you would expect without hardware acceleration. not what i would consider 'working'.

Works perfectly fine.. Hence, if you need to work with Flash intensive stuff, I suggest boot NITDroid & you will be thrilled to be using Flash 10.1 on your Nokia N900..

hi people!
im new to the forum and i have been after this flash, i downloaded the file and saved it in my documents under a new folder called flash. when i open the folder and click the file to install it, the phone gives me a list of applications to install the file with. i tried app manager etc but it just comes up with file corrupted! can someone please lend a hand and give me some instructions or help i only basicly now how to work the phone so please go easy on me lol would be verry aprechiated if someone could help, many thanks

hi little evaz!
you need to install Nitdroid (Android for N900) on your phone to have flash. go to this thread for instructions: talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66459.

I have just tried both the 10.1 and 10.2 libflashplayer.so on the N900. Tested on both microb and fennec

They both work, for example flash that needs flash 10+ loads properly.

HOWEVER... if you try to click in the flash... it dies with an undefined symbol:

/opt/mozilla/fennec-6.0/plugin-container: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/browser/plugins/libflashplayer.so: undefined symbol: gdk_x11_window_get_drawable_impl
Still looking at how to fix this.

Anyone?
